March Fun Show

All the girls from AKS that went to the academy show in March did a GREAT job!! Congrats!! I think we were all very proud of - well all of the girls. But the little ones who rode JJ were awesome because JJ was being a bit of a handful for a little while and they all just stuck with him and worked through the problems. All the horses were pretty cooperative and had good behavior - which we all knew they would. And they looked great going around the arena. Toby and Kylee had a ton of fun on their victory pass because Toby being Toby, knew it was his victory pass and he went around looking like a park horse. When Kylee got off everybody asked if she was afraid and she smiled and said, no, it was so much fun!! I loved it!! I wanted to keep going!
Erin and Alexis were working hard the whole day. Erin had 2 or 3 energy shots to keep going throughout the day! And barely had any time to take a break. She stopped twice the whole day; once to shove a sandwich down her throat and chug a pop and the next time to go to the bathroom real quick. I'm so thankful we have such great help at the barn. I don't know what we'd do without them! So this part is a thanks to Erin and Alexis.... THANK YOU!! WE LOVE YOU!!
So all in all, it was a pretty good day at the show. The girls showed, socialized, watched each other, and had fun. It was a fairly early morning start and then we finally got out of there at 4:30. And most of the girls took home at least one blue. So congratulations to everybody who went! Good job!
